180 days regular cruising permit
Allow you to transit on Costa Rica waters.
Renewal after the vessel stays 3 months out of the country.
2 years touristic cruising permit
Allow transit on Costa Rica waters.
Spare parts on transit.
Marina service agreement is needed.
Costa Rica captains on permit
Renewal after the vessel stays 3 month out of the country.
2 years MOPT- Marina cruising permit
Allow you to transit on Costa Rica waters.
Marina Mooring or slip contract is needed.
Allow Costa Rica captains on permit
Yearly renewable permit.
1 year Charter permit (Apply only for vessels over 24 meters)
Allow you to transit on Costa Rica waters.
Spare parts on transit.
Marina Mooring or slip contract is needed.
Allow Costa Rica captains on permit.
Provisions on transit.
